The music ministry of the church is fundamental to vibrant Christian worship. Liturgical music, offered as a gift to God and community, intends to assist the people of God to express and share the gift of faith that is within them and to strengthen this faith in meaningful worship. Those wishing to join the music ministry have several options.
Instrumental Music:
Music is provided at most Masses. Organ, flute and guitar provide instrumental song. Anyone having any instrumental gift is encouraged to consider joining.
The Leader of Song:
(Cantor) is an individual singer who leads the congregation in musical worship. Additional Cantors are always needed and private practice and instruction are provided.
