The primary purpose of the Decorating Committee is the planning and arranging of the parish decorations for special liturgical celebrations and seasons throughout the year such as Fall, Advent, Christmas, Holy Thursday, Easter Sunday and summer. Decorations are usually arranged on the altar and throughout the church a few days before each special event. Removal is usually one or two weeks after and items need to be discarded or put away for the following year. This will only take about two hours of your time. All men and women are welcome because of the ingredients (talent, strength, time and energy) that are necessary to demonstrate our recipe of spiritual joy, celebration and commitment. There are no monthly meetings and it is not necessary to assist at every decorating celebration.
